“Our business focuses on customer satisfaction first. We understand that purchasing Tyres is a necessary, but sometimes unpleasant experience, therefore our Goal is to provide the customer with an enjoyable, honest service by satisfying individual tyre requirements with a quality product.”
Richard Trumino began his Tyre career in 1960 as a Tyre-fitter & Re-groover for A.P Tyre Service in North Melbourne. After obtaining skills swiftly in the area, he then moved on to Major Tyre Service in West Melbourne performing the same tasks. At the age of 16 Richard began his long lasting relationship with Beaurepaires. Initially a Tyre-Fitter for Beaurepaires Franklin Street Melbourne, then advancing to Stock Control & Trade Representation. Richard served for 11 years at Beaurepaires Barkley Street West Footscray subsequently managing Ensign Tyres in Maidstone prior to starting his own business (Superior Wheel Aligners) in 1974.
Originally the business was quite a small retail & wholesale store employing two staff operating out of a combined workshop & warehouse but with Richards understanding, experience & passion in the tyre industry, along with his business awareness, Superior Wheel Aligners quickly grew into the force that it is in the present day - Superior Tyres "The Professional Team".
